So now I am looking into this S. My only concern is that is had 5 previous owners. Looking at the CarFax there seems to have been a good amount of service, and a 5000 mile service done 3 times in short timeframe. Im worried about a possible underlying issue that may have caused this to be turned in so often.

Anyone know this Portland area car, or have thoughts? Am I getting too paranoid?

I don't think its any surprise that some s2000s get turned often. People buy, try it and then sell it. Everybody has to own a convertible at least once!

The amount of owners should be factored into the value though. The perceived notion is that more owners means more risk, and more potential buys will back out.

If there is nothing else negative about the history, give the car a good inspection. The car will tell you how it was treated. Good Luck!
