Since I got the Ridgeline I have been occasionally visiting their forums. They are fairly slow, and definately not as entertaining as our group here, but I've picked up some good info.
The past few days the site was non responsive. Today I get this: http://www.ridgeline4wd.com/index.php?c=1
Why bother hacking a truck owners discussion forum? Were they angry, bored, or was the site just too easy to hack?
Just wondering what motivates some people to waste their time on such pointless activities.

Alot of people LOATHE the Ridge, I mean they absolutely HATE the thing. Probably a couple of dudes from HumpmySilverado.com or Thatthinggotahemi.org who have little to discuss on their own fansites.
Reading some of the forums that are outside the NE area of s2ki I am surprised something similar hasn't happened. Their are a lot of haters out there that can't stand the success of brands like Honda here in the country. The Ridgeline is a (small but significant) success and a splice in the very thread that keeps the domestic automakers afloat... trucks.

My +1, who is hell bent on buying a Scion XB, has been telling me I should sell my Dakota and buy a Ridgeline. I'm finally getting used to the fact that the Ridgeline (particularly in white) looks like a refrigerator on wheels. And I think the XB looks like a toaster. If we both make the switch, our driveway will look like an appliance store!
my friend has a ridgeline, he visits those forums. He says that honda service reps frequent the "ask honda anything" section.
His transmission just went out on him with 1,639 miles. He's PISSED! Honda is taking care of it though. Nobody can figure out why it happend.

A fridge? Dont look like a fridge to me:
I traded my Dakota. It was a 98 standard cab. I needed a backseat more than anything else. I like the look myself.
