Hi NES2K Owners,

I see you are coming to VT for a drive. I saw the photos from last year and I hope to join you. I am working on getting an S shortly (see thread elsewhere). I live in VT. Not to make you jealous, but I am about a mile off of Rt. 17 in Fayston (the east side of the gap). I drive this road regularly (understatement!).

At present I have a 1990 Miata. I have spent way too much time in my garage working on it. It has a turbo (12 lbs of boost, programmable ECU) and most suspension mods as well as big tires and brakes. The car is very light and is very fast. I am often trolling the Gap road for my next victim (it really helps to know the road). I have had the Miata for sometime and while it is a great

Man did I luck out.
last year when we left the GMT on Sunday at about noon we headed to my brothers summer house on Lake Sunapee in NH. Bobby (rjk3) swam a while with his cousins then we finished off the trip with a top down ride to Cape Cod.
I just talked to my brother and this year we've timed a week in NH to coincide with the end of the GMT, so we get two days in VT V-TECH'n and 7 days in NH skiing, jet skiing, sailing and drinkin fine wine. My wife and daughter will drive up from the Cape in our Mini van so we'll have both ends of the vehicle spectrum covered. Man am I psyched.
Can't wait to get back to Rte 17, oops I forgot Bob III will have his permit by then and be busting my chops for a run in the drivers seat on Rte 17 ... stay tuned...maybe I'll let him, and have Josh or Justin video it....then again maybe not since I'd have to be in the passenger seat
Spent much of today driving with the top down including a portion of the Cape run. Congrats to all who participated, all of whom had the top down in the 45 degree start at 9AM.... BRAVO

Caravan from Southern Sounds good!

Is there a hotel or inn of choice in the area (VT)? If not what hotels or inns in the area?

What are the starting points and ending points in VT?

Thanks Guys

Thanks Justin!

I'm still allive averyone and as for now still have my "S", although I think it may be gone by the time GMT is here, but I'm still availible to help plan, and even possibly come up with some nice merchandise like I did last year!

I miss you all and hope I can see you all again real soon!

Hey Justin or Josh, haven't seen much written here lately about the GMT, is it still on. What hotels this year for the start and 2nd night, same as last. What routes etc... any info would be appreciated.

Looking forward to seeing everyone if it's still on, I've been working way too much and not driving the S nearly enough.
