Discuss Gran Turismo 5 here.
We can all obsess over it, how easy it is to mod the S2000s and how much fun it is to drive with the steering wheels, pedals, and transmissions.

Erick, what is your favorite car in GT5 prologue so far?
What is your favorite track?

I like Forza 2 a lot... unfortunately the lack of steering wheel choices ruins it for me. Even with that handcap, I'd have to admit Forza 2 is prob the better game since it offers a whole lot more that GT5:P does right now. I can't wait till the full blown GT5 release though.

I'm not sure what it was, but I could never get hooked on Forza like I do on a GT game.
Too bad too because I love my XBox and many other games. In fact, overall I think it's a better system.
Then I have to go and blow almost $1G on the PS3, game, and peripherals just to play 1 game. Seems crazy but I had been going NUTS without GT in HD. (PS2 and GT4 are in the bedroom for a quick fix)

Well, the good news is you haven't really wasted the PS3 money for just the game. The PS3 is a fantastic Blu-Ray player as well. Having both systems seems a bit of a waste though. Most big name games are available for both systems. Only the exclusive titles like Halo, GT, and such make you choose sides. Things just all started pointing me towards buying a PS3. The studios were all jumping of board with Blu-Ray, the 100% PS2 compatible earlier PS3 models were getting rarer, and GT5:P was coming out. I've played every GT title since the first version came out 10 years ago. I bought a PS2 the day GT3 was released. I saw no reason to not continue the trend with GT5.

That's how I am. Definitely pissed my PS3 does not play my PS2 games tho.
However, glad to have the Blu-ray player. My cabinet has an XBox360, PS3, and a HD-DVD player in it.
I just buy them all and figure it out later!
As for having both, I'm a sucker for both Halo and the GT series. Single platform games ftl

Oh man you need to upgrade, my 46" Samsung is barely enough with the new "cockpit" view. I have a hard time with the gauges on some cars but thankfully not the S2000

I tried to sell the wife that the PS3 with the $100 Walmart gift card for $399 made a great Father's Day gift.
She didnt but it. Ah well. PS3 not playing PS2 games kinda was another thing that had me buy the Xbox over the PS3.
