Hey Jeff,
Are the nuts that hold the upper shocks mounts in the rear on with lock-tite. I just had a look at mine on the pass side and they both have red stuff on them.

No...at least not that I can tell, although I've seen the bolts painted with a mark like someone was indexing them.

Factory manual does not indicate thread lock for assembly either.

Perhaps someone prepped your car for rally racing!

Yesterday was a good day but today as I walk to my car to head over my friend house I found someone has side swipe my rear bumper and my driver side taillight were coming out 1/2 inc. and most of the bumper stop tab has been pop out and maybe worst a broken tab on the light Right when I'm saving money for something my car come out with problem mainly from people damaging it...ErrrR

Hi everyone. Sorry I am a day late, just letting you all know it was nice to meet everyone. Some really nice cars! Jeff thanks again for the help with the fluid change too. The air hose trick is a keeper.

well seeing that stuff on there makes me a little nervous considering it's the oem suspension and the carfax was clean before I bought the car. I'm trying to think of scenarios why that would be there. I should have a look on the other side to see if there is anything on there. The fronts don't have any lock-tite.

there were red paint marks on all the shock towers i've seen
