Hmmmm, a million a year is middle class. Interesting. She certainly has a low opinion of the rest of the world. Even in the US the government does not consider much above 35k to me middle class. I guess I should move to NY and get on welfare, as I am well below her idea of middle class.

Half a million/year is middle class in New York? Maybe 100 grand a year, but half a mil is really stretching that definition.

Wait, if it gets to a leasing arrangement does the 500k still stand? It shouldnt as it is usually easier on the wallet to lease. So maybe she should settle for the lease and get someone who makes maybe 250K

To answer her question, she needs a man in his late 60s. This man will probably not outlive the good looks, so for him it is a reasonably good investment.
