Default Open Office

I down loaded open office on my home computer. I have not played around with it very much, but it seems pretty good. Awesome when you consider it is free. Do any of you use it? Is there a tutorial for how to use it? If so, where can I find it?

They did say this week was going to be the peak of the Swine flu .

So they contaminate me , F up my xbox , kill my power last night and now I have to get a new DVR as I have no HBO now after the power lose ..... It is a conspiracy I tell you

The Doc is not going to tell me anything I dont already know When I start turning Blue I will give him a call I get sick every year around this time . I have more of a chance at getting the swine flu at the doctors than work . Few swigs of Gasoline should clear it right up

I've used a variant of OpenOffice on the Mac called NeoOffice. It is basically OO with some Mac OS integration and speed improvements. Worked fine for me, most of what I did were based in spreadsheets. I was using it until last year when I received a copy of Microsoft Office 2008 from work for $30. If it were more than that I probably never would have bought it. For the most part there wasn't a huge difference for what I was doing and could pretty much use either.

I use OO and MS Office interchangeably at work. I find OO Calc (Excel equivalent) far less stable and its recovery function is useless. I only use it because it preserves foreign language characters better than Excel. Great for free product though.
