Default Our kitty is missing!

Our who never misses a meal has not shown up since early this afternoon.

We had a friend at the house and Rick thinks she may have hopped in his car and hitched a ride two towns over. (Our other cat who has gone to kitty heaven did that once.)

I called our friend and he has not seen her.

This kitty was a stray we picked up about 10 years ago,and to be honest, not the brightest as far as pets go.

If she doesn't show up in the AM, I guess I'll call local animal control.

And, no thanks Steve, I don't want Matthew if she doesn't show up.

Indoor and outdoor, and she needs special food. If someone starts feeding her "regular" cat food she ends up with problems.

She's usually very skittish and usually hides when we have company. She shows up when they leave. She usually sticks around our yard. That's why it would surprise me if she hopped in our friend's car.

Our part Maine Coon, Gus, snuck out twice this summer overnight when one of the dogs went out for his nightly yard patrol. He was at the back door first thing in the morning, even being a strictly indoor cat. Hope your little one does the same.

Hope she comes back, Lainey. In my experience, the females don't run away, but I guess you can never tell.

No kitty yet. I called all the local animal control offices to leave messages in case someone calls in a stray kitty.

Rick went looking in a area she "could" be in if she did in fact hitch a ride with our friend.

If she doesn't show, I'll put an ad in the paper on Monday.

Thanks for the kind words guys.

Thanks. Our other kitty used to do that all the time. This one has been more of a homebody, but you never know.

She has to eat prescription cat food. She's not crazy about it. Maybe she's just looking for a better restaurant.
