I know this adds no value to the car but I really love a dark seal grey color, darker then the silverstone color out there (currently I own sebring silver) and was wondering if anyone has had an S painted and what a nice quality paint job could cost.... any thoughts? Thanks everyone....

I considered changing my car's color from black with stone chips scattered over the front and scuff marks on the lower front bumper to just plain black. I was given a ballpark figure of $4000 to get the car repainted well, not just a cheapo respray. Of course you can have it done far cheaper, but you get what you pay for when it comes to the labor involved in getting a car painted.

 

Repainting your car properly will cost anywhere from $3500 and up, more up than anything.

As a side note this will actually hurt the cars resale value.

 

 

Pinky got his car painted after driving it 24 7 for a few years. It was orinially silverstone, but when he repainted it they mixed in some black or something. It looks amazing.
