I am hoping for a Pats vs Bears Super Bowl. Pats 34 - Bears 0

We owe Da Bears a long overdue payback - almost exactly 20 years.

Broncos-Pats

I hate to say it, but the officials seem to be a bit biased....

Now the wheels have fallen off. This is a worse mess than a PsychoBen oil change.

I'll take your word for it on that one. They blew it. 1st half minor mistakes with some bad calls, second half they self destructed.

agreed. Fumbles are very un-Patriot like. It was torture watching this mess.

It took me 20 minutes and 1/ 2 bottle of wine to calm down after the sh%ty call in Q2 on defensive pass interference that was really classsic case of a Denver Offensive pass interference. You could see it took the wind out of the Patriots sails when that call gave Denver a their 1st touchdown. Very bad call.

No excuses though the fumbs killed us. Faulk was back to his old fumble self, and the other dude that fumbled on the return killed us. Denver is going to get killed when they have to play a team that doesn't self destruct like we did to night. They had no offense. Very good a capitalizing on Patriots errors. But that does not mean they can move the ball and win a championship.

A sad day in Mud-Town

The officiating in that game was some of the worst I've ever seen in a pro football game. There were the two obvious bad calls that everyone is talking about, but I also saw several missed holding calls which should have been called against Denver and what I felt was a pass interference call against Denver as well. It's no mystery why the Pats had one sack the whole game . . . Denver was holding half the time.

Once things started going against them the Pats just self destructed. While they definitely could have still won had they just kept their heads high and forgot about the bad officiating they blew the game by getting frustrated. I really felt the Pats ignoring the turn overs out played the Broncos by a large margin overall.

I loved Coach Bill's post game press conference. This was my favorite comment (rough transcript):

Reporter: Coach, what did you think of the pass interference call in the second quarter?

Bill B.: I saw what the side judge saw.

Reporter: But it was the back judge who made the call.

Bill B.: I know.
