How much should I expect to be charged for a place to go over the car see what it needs and give an estimate?

Body is all beat up!(oh well) Car started right up after a turn over and sit for 5 seconds then VROOOOM! Drove it around the block and the front right tire was making some strange noised(bearings maybe). Though he said he used FIX A FLAT on the tire. So right there it has to be replaced!

Its a Civic.......88 I think!?! With like 110K on the ODO. Has been sitting for like almost a year. Very little driving done on it.

 

Good winter car! It is very similar to the 88-91 CRXs which I swear by. I just picked up another one (a 90') for this winter. I have a noise similar to what you describe, it is the drivers side CV axle. I am going through the whole thing including tune up, oil/coolant etc. If you want to come down here, I can take a look at it for you and even fix the axle for you if you want. Only takes like an hour or so to do.
