I love playmobile! I don't see what is the big deal about this. As long as I can remember flying, there were always metal detectors at the airport. Nothing new here.

It's realistic play for kids. GI joe always had a tank and a jet like in real life, so why shouldn't his civilian counterparts in toy world have the right equipment too?

The real shock and disgust should be that they are charging $58 for a mini play set like that. Shucks, it doesn't even come with the airport.

 

really? before 9/11 i never had to get neekid and get a billyclub stuffed up my A$$ when i flew - nor did i ever have to take off my shoes nor did i have to get to the airport 9 hours before my flight was to take off
