Default Problem with the Spoon STB

Does anyone here have the Spoon STB and have a problem with it rubbing against the hood and the AEM CAI? I noticed a squeek under the hood and marking on my STB so I came to a concludsion that the STB is rubbing against the hood. Does anyone else have that problem or is it just me???

Spoon STB itself shouldn't touch the hood..
but it won't fit with AEM CAI if my memory serves me right..!!

The Spoon STB may touch the inner protective cover of the hood in some places. But barely. It does on mine. But... if memory serves me correct... from reading on this board, the only STB that can be used with the AEM CAI is the Comptech STB. The Spoon STB may not be angled high enough where it starts to bend up towards the hood. But as I don't have the Comptech CAI, I can't say for sure.

Hope this helps

my spoon stb touchs the hood a little bit, it's a little more difficult to close the hood, but i haven't seen any major problems yet, hoods not damaged, stb's not damaged, so it's all good for me. but wait... the aem cai won't fit? how about injen cai?

Ok, I'm gonna be the first to admit my ignorance; what does STB stand for? I'm killing myself trying to figure this out.
