I know this has nothing to do with the S2000, but is anyone playing any PS2 games online? I just started playing SOCOM and it's blowing me away. Maybe if enough NE members are online, we can get an S2000 fire team going...

i don't know, i don't have the hook up for online yet, been slow getting it but i know glen has one

 

Been trying to convince Merri to buy a PS2...she wants one badly so she can play GTA, but so far, no luck

 

Now that Xmas has passed, I think they may lower the prices again. I think Xbox already went down to like $199 from $400 last year. PS2 will probably follow suit and go even lower.

 

I've got a PS2 with the network adapter and an Xbox with Xbox Live, if you think SOCOM on PS2 is unreal do yourself a HUGE favor and go and get an Xbox. Xbox Live BLOWS away the playstation online network system. Nevermind the way better graphics and every game is in dolby digital surround sound.

I'll sure VRM VRM will back me up about this as he has both also.

Both xbox and P2 have been selling at $200 for months now. I don't know if they will go down further after the holidays.

Onimusha 2 is a one-person RPG game. I don't see how you can play online w/ friends. It is a fun game though; I like it. But it is short enough you can just rent/borrow it, play it, then return it.

I held off buying xbox because they had limited games available. But lately they are rolling out really good games, namely Splinter Cell. I saw an offer in EB that you can trade in a used P2 + 3 used P2 games for a brand new xbox + 2 xbox games.

Call me crazy but I just bought the Cube couple weeks ago so I can play Metroid Prime - voted by most gaming magazines to be the game of the year. No regrets.
