Im looking at a used one on the marketplace and the box says 00-03 but the guy is claiming to have a 04 and it fits fine on his. Are they interchangeable? and if not are they close enough that it takes just minimal modification as in relocate the brackets or something?

Not sure if this matters, but the exhaust tips are different from AP1 to AP2

 

Most exhaust fit fine up until MY06 where there were some changes.

 

thought the hangers were different on the ap2

 

my mugen ap2 ti exhaust fits without any modifications on MY00

The shop i ordered my Fuji from claimed they were the same part number for my '04 compaired to the '00 -'03. FWIW
