Yup, it has started, more to come this afternoon and into tomorrow. I got just a hint of freezing rain, but he silly weatherman are all flipping out around here, like doom and gloom is coming.

I wish like hell weathermen could just go back to reporting the weather, and not tryiing to turn it into a media event days before.

 

40+ degrees here and no rain yet... Supposed to start later though, and 20 degrees overnight so tomorrow will NOT be fun for those who actually have to leave their houses

Hoping to get in a walk anyway today... I am still trying to remove the last of Head Chef's damn banana cookie

I have to find some humor in the fact that I am broke
I have no job and not much money but I do have great benefits
I am getting some new customers here in town, it's slow though.
I need to get some real money soon or there will be no track days this year

 

So are you concerned yet about the wear and tear on your slippers as you commute to work every morning?

I have faith, you'll do fine, as long as you keep your nose to the grindstone. I remember back to when I was without job, months behind on rent, had a car that was falling apart under me, things were very gloomy, but I got a part-time job just to keep food on the table and spent all the rest of my time working to get a real job, and it came through, but had I not had that part-time job I think I would have gone out of my mind. Those were some of the most stressful days of my life for sure!

 

I gotta get some slippers, maybe if my feet were not cold all the time I wouldn't be either. I have no problem getting a part time job if I have to until real business comes in. I will do whatever I gotta to keep my car payment paid

Things will be fine, but I may end up cutting back on a few things I wanted to do this year. I still got credit cards, maybe Ian will start taking Visa this year

And I have income, almost enough to make ends meet, just not as much as I am used to. But only ONE income now

 

Trust me, I hear ya bout the only one income now... but in the end, I suspect just like me, the loss of one income is well worth it because thatextra income came with LOTS of attached strings...

 

Yeah I try to remember that I was just reading the paper and saw the library was looking for a part time bookkeeper 10 hours a week so I typed up an application letter. Now I have to leave the house today though to mail lit

 

Actually I have to leave the house today anyway, we are voting here in Bennington today.
