Ellen, maybe I'm missing something but it doesn't sound to me that you're being told to get your car the F out, just that if you want to "visit" it, the visit will be outside. Very similar to child visitation.

With all due respect, forget about "visiting" the car until you are ready to just take it for good. It won't kill you not to see it. If you go into some sort of withdrawal, I'm sure someone will send you pics, or even let you come and sit in their car.

I was told I am not allowed inside the house unless he is there, the locks have been changed. I will not have withdrawals. I really am not insane Bruce

I won't be able to see or sit in it once it's moved since it will be outside under wraps for the next month.

I simply do not trust him not to do something to my car while it is there after I file paperwork and he is served notice.

And the sooner that is all done the better. I was hoping to avoid some ugliness until April but I may as well get it over now along with everything else I have been dealing with.

The simple solution is (1) don't file any paperwork until AFTER you get the car moved (2) don't rock the boat until April/May so you don't have to move the car all over creation (3) let him calm down some before you even go near him, the house, and the car. Sorry to say, but he's sorta holding all the cards. He's got possession of everything at this point. Look, I don't know Joe, but do you really feel that he would actually damage your S?

Leave him be until May, that's my advice.

Getting into a pissing match only ends with both parties getting wet.

That's probably good advice Bruce but with the week I have had I am in no mood to be screwed around with. I am about ready to spit nails at the moment.

I was going to move the car in April anyway so one month won't make that much of a difference in the grand scheme of things.

I legally own HALF the house. He does not hold ALL the cards. I was not going to play that card but now "he started it" and all bets are off.

I trust him not to hurt the cats or my mother but NOT to leave the car alone. He knows that is the only thing I have right now.

I'm going to bring it to the dealership and have them give it a once over as soon as I get it out of there.

It really shouldn't be hard to borrow a child. You might want to consider purchasing a child outright in Thailand just to have for the purpose of movie admittance.
