Sort of interesting...
My B-day is 6 days and 6 years before yours.
You mean AFTER I think! Before that and you would not have a VINTAGE badge

I learned only recently you could NOT put a year in for a profile...

But that's OK, I've also only recently felt OK about my age

I went red for all my supplies. I like the fact that the shoies are red, it forces me to wear them at the track only, if they were black I would wear them allt he time because it is like going barefoot.

The gloves are also red, when I put my hand out to indicate a point-by I want my hand to be very, very visable. I spend a good deal of time on the track with club racers and cars that are jusst way, way faster, and I want them to see as far away the side I want them passing on.

The 1st time a racecar goes by ya at 145 when you are doing 115 is a real eye opener...

Oh crap, they DO have black for both shoes and gloves... I just have to figure out what size MEN'S shoes I need.

I am pretty sure I need Small gloves since I had to special order a pair of Mechanic's gloves earlier this year. Grrh - how come there is no women's stuff for track?!

No, BEFORE, that would make me even older, thus more than appropriate for da badge.

Age is all in year head and your bones. So far I have kept it out of my head, although there are some days it feels like it wants to settle into my bones...

That's a good point about the red gloves. I'll think about it. I won't wear my special shoes except for driving, I have alot of willpower these days.

My mom always wants to know what to buy me - I'll send those links to her

She LOVES knowing her only daughter drives a car at race tracks

I had 2 cars pass w/o point by at WGI and with no good reason - I always give em when I am in a place where they should be passing... I think they got a warning about that.

Oh I am messed up on the dates - you are right. Another Gemini eh? No wonder we have this problem - it's like FOUR people taking over the topic instead of two

As this is a totally off topic thread, here are a few of my favorite pics. This BTW is a very rare Savannah, an experimental breed that is stillunder development. This kitty is an F2, meaning it is only 2nd generation removed from the wild Africal Serval that is bread to a domesticated Bengal to create the breed.

That was the 2nd time the cat did the same thing. The 1st time it did it I had the camera so pics could not be taken. Silly kitty...
