Walking is good for you!!! Not only did I burn off more of the banana cake from Sunday BUT more importantly... I found the perfect on street parking for my Civic for a few days.

The street where the police park there cars there is lots of parking within 1/4 mile. I figure that should be a relatively safe place to park

I am going to drive by a few times at night to check it out after dark but it seems really good right about now.

There is also a large apartment complex another 1/4 mile up the road where I think one more silver Civic sedan would blend right in. (I saw 3 cars exactly identical to mine just going to the grocery store yesterday.)

So worst case is not looking quite so worst case any more

I think Crazy Ellen is clever enough to figure that one out...

I made it little in the winter to cut back on shoveling. Currently, it will hold 4 cars. In the summer I could easily take around 8.

What kind do you have? We have one that just sits on the counter top and holds the towel's upright. I hate the ones that mount under the cabinets.

My paper towels just sit on the counter without a holder at all.

Well damn, I didn't know that... I might take you up on that. Going to try to get a little closer. I'd need a ride back to Bennington though, AND someone to bring me to get the car eventually

I'm going to play it by ear. I have two good possibilities here in town but thanks for the alternative. I'm willing to pay for parking if I need to, I don't expect a free lunch
