Regional coordinators?
In another thread Steve was asking about NES2KO regional directors. I don't know what or who they are, but the post got me thinking about having people in different regions of New England acting as the regional coordinator for events and meetings. I'm thinking of folks in Maine and New Hampshire that don't live near most of the events. Maybe if they had a coordinator they would be more active. I see the coordinator being something of a leader who schedules local meets, coordinates group drives and maybe leads caravans to other meets. Maybe they could help find sponsors in their area as they would be more familiar with the local businesses.
The position could also be subject matter related. Like the regional director of track events or the RD of charities. Just a thought.

We should have a Maine person. Does Giles do anything with New Hampshire???
Not sure if this thread is to be sarcastic or not, I have my work hat on so I am probably taking this seriously. My Sig:

As NH is one of my 3 neighboring states I would love to see more action there... it's only an hour to me and I plan to be in Loudon several times this year
Not to be TOO sarcastic but we did have an active NH member who has left our group for the most part
I might even be persuaded to visit Maine if zippy Dave lets me stay with him

I really was NOT being sarcastic, just pointing out a fact
I bet Steve is wishing he had thought of this approach
