Talking rise and shine

Woo Hoo! Woke up this morning and realized that the night before I rescued my s2000 from the garage it had been sleeping in all winter. Can't wait for the meets to start!!!

It's been one hell of a winter for me. Hell being an understatement. Here are some cliffs.

Traded Scott the supercharger for the blue hatch and 2 engines.

Got the blue hatch running right, redid the interior etc. Someone cut me off and bang, blue hatch was down.

Sold it.

Bought a teal 93si hatch. Swapped all the goods off the blue hatch and was happy, ready to build a summer warrior.

One night, someone drove off with it right in front of my apt complex. They found it stripped to the bone (in bridgeport ct). Even the gas tank. Total loss.

I sold it and now it's being fully restored by a friend (who just got it back from the body/paint shop.)

I picked up a mint 95 civic coupe. Already had a swap done for practically nothing. Drove it around, got a nice ravelco unit put on it. Parked it in my car port every night. Theives came with a tow truck and yanked it last monday. It was found that same day dropped on its frame completely stripped except the motor and transmission (the ravelco kept it from starting period.) Wrecker came and hauled if off to the impound lot, locked it up for the night.

That night the theives came back, mowed the gate down, loaded it up on a flat bed, and stole it again.

It was found again last night a shell of a shell.

I had full insurance plus aftermarket insurance on it. So i'm filling out all the paper work and am in the process of making a claim.

This morning while driving to work I realized how much time/money I had been wasting. So im going to be focusing my efforts on the s2000 from now on.

I've got a 4-door acura for my winter car, and thats all I need.

I have since moved from where my car(s) were stolen from into a nice house with a garage and laser guided 50mm turrets (not really). Leaving all that behind, glad to be back in my love the S2000!

haha, well this last car was the only one that I can make a claim on. The other was a beater that I was going to fully insure once I had a good motor in it.

I would hate to see your insurance rates after all that. But at least your S wasn't tarnished.
