Looks like my rear bumper after a trip down to TN. I too write fun stuff in the dirt that makes it's way onto the trunk.

I had a beautiful 1997 Eagle Talon, kind of Laguna Blue in color. One day it was covered in pollen and a friend (not a car guy) took his finger and wrote "wash me" on the hood.

I guess there was dirt or something underneath, as it scratched the clear coat. Rick was No matter how much Rick cleaned, washed, waxed, compounded, it never came out. In the right light, and at the right angle, you could always see "wash me" on the hood.

Well, in that case good thing I didn't write wash me. I wrote some kind words about my +1. Good thing it wasn't the old +1's name

A new top with a glass window?

Did you put the top down when it was cold?

not many have fixed a plastic rear window because they just don't unzip BUT i know Billman from Metro can do a plastic rear window swap (not too sure how much he charges)

i got big roll of clear plastic with sticky stuff on one side and put it on both sides of it like tinting kinda, but was clear, lasted well over a year but then i got a good deal on a top with glass so i opted for that.
