Roll hoops template?
One mod I wanted to do this summer was to block the wind coming in through the roll hoops with a clear Plexiglas cutout. Though I don't have a good template and well pulling out that plastic just isn't something I would be looking to do.
Not sure if anyone has this pattern already around. Otherwise I will have to get creative in building a pattern out of cardboard/tinfoil. I would much rather have something to work off of.
Thanks all.

Don't take the plastic pieces out they don't really go back together and Where are you looking to put a piece in the middle, the front, or the back part of the hoops? I have speakers in there that work great for killing air flow and surround sound
Joe I will take you up on the offer if need be. Thanks!
drhess I don't plan on taking the plastic out. I will put the plexi in from the rear as it tapers down. Then put a nice fine bead of clear silicone or I will mix up a tiny batch of JB weld and tack it in place. No rear speakers for me. Would throw the whole sound stage off. Speakers that close to your ears messes up the music due to travel time between speakers and ears. Yeah I am that geeky with stereo's.

I had the S-Pod speaker system in my S and it made a world of difference. I could finally hear the music on the highway. Cant you make adjustments with your current system? Also get an aftermarket wind blocker for inbetween the headrests. Having both helps a lot!
Pinky,
Not sure if this would interest you, but I have the Major Havoc plexiglass windblocker that fits in the hoop in the seat back (not in the roll bar). I got mine from Rick's. At about $30, they were pricy for what you get, but very easy to install. You just pull up on the bottom of the plastic on the back of the seat that surrounds the headrest, put the plexiglass in and then pop the plastic back on.
If interested, I could pop one out, make you a tracing and measure the thickness of the plexiglass.

I have probably the equivalent 500 - 600 Watts in the car. It's rated at 266 watts total I think. AutoTeck amp(33 watts per channel) running TRI-MODE = 2 Bass Shaker Pro's and single 12" in trunk.(I think it breaks down to 150 for 12" and ~50 per shaker RMS) The other is running mids and tweets on separate channels(50 RMS) all digitally crossed over with a big clarion crossover. AutoTeck is rated at 33 per channel x 2 at 4 ohms but if you bridge it to single output it jumps to 265 and is capable of running 2 ohms BRIDGED or over 500 watts! It's a competition amp so it's ratings are wacky and doesn't compare well to over amps.
Previously I have run 2, 12" subs off that 33x2 amp and hit over 130DB! Now I just have 1 12" in the S now.
Plenty of power and all stealth installed so you don't see it unless you know what your looking for. Might re-wrap the trunk this summer to allow more bass to travel through the carpeted trunk.

I actually put black fabric over the inside of the head rest where that plexi goes, so there isn't air coming through there. I have the 7/8 Ricks wind blocker but now so much wind is being pushed back it's now pushing though the hoops and around seats. I am 6'2" so my head is high and seat is back no dissipation of air flow.
