im curious to know ..75percent of S2 owners on this site ..the fastest car they ever owned or driven was a 2000..no wonder they think the car is a rocket..get behind the wheel of a viper..or a Z06..or a 911 twin..ive drove them all !! and owned the Z06...brawden ur horizons to more than jus 1 car..its a great car (again)..but open ur mind ..there are better performance cars you know!! jesus!

2) you clearly don't understand the dynamics of the S2000 & it's purpose

We all know there are faster cars out there and there are cars with more torque

To get back to topic....there are no "bolt ons", boost controllers or chips that are going to get you 30-40 hp. Perhaps you can get close with exhaust, intake, headers, VFAC, cam etc. etc. That could easily be $3,000 in mods and would at best get you 20-25 HP...

Getting more power from an engine shouldn't be new to you if you've modded for power before....simple stuff really.....get more air and fuel into the engine, get the exhaust out.....

You know what....this thread is BS...first you tell us you owned an RX-7 and a modded 5.0......and now you owned a Z-06? And please....don't tell me to broaden my horizons...I'm aware of the S2000's place among the worlds sports cars, and I know my peers do as well. Perhaps your horizons need to be broadened, as it seems that your only criteria for a good car is speed.

Let me try to understand this, wonderboy25 is trying to get advices from NE 2ski forum by degrading our S' performance over and over again in this thread.

Our S was designed to be driven hard, rev hard to squeeze out 120hp per liter. Wonderboy25 keeps on comparing straight line performance of our S to cars with turbo charger, or V8 with two or three time the displacement.........

Dude can you do me a favor and shut it. I've driven a lot of faster cars as well... but I'll tell you what this car has it in a lot of the right places... You can't compare this car to a stupid Mustang. For reference I beat down a Mustang GT so you really have no clue about what your talking about. Go back to the mustang boards.

Glenn is being way nicer than I am,... as usual... but really dud you have no idea what the hell your talking about.

There are quite a few S2k's that will beat the tar out of a Corvette or a Viper. You really need to just trade the car in for another Rustang.
