Would you get similar improvements in an AP2? I heard the V-AFC doesn't do much for us 8k guys. If it was some what comparable I would be all over this.

Thanks

Possibly but unknown. We would need someone to take the plunge as this owner did and the posibility that it might not be any better. Stuff can be sold on eBay :D

I suspect that there is some power lurking there for dedicated 93 octane users even if it is just lower in the rpm range...

It would be nice to pick up a few more horses and lower the vtec engagement point.

Can it raise the fuel cut off point a few hundred RPMs to something like 8600?

Maybe later this summer

VAFC can only do fuel and sense the AP2 runs leaner there is not much to gain .

The Greddy can due fuel more precisely not just a average between two points on the Rpm range , but tune every point in the map - Plus you can control timing .

Timing is the key difference between the two .

The unit is universal , so if you were not happy I can always get rid of it :) If you want to give it a try .

PM me and we can work something out :)

Is there a p&p harness available for my car? Probably not, but had to ask...

jtpassat 07-17-2006 11:58 AM

looks lke the p&p harnesses are made for honda/nissan/toyota cars. us german folks are left out

ScottyBallistic 07-17-2006 12:06 PM

You German folk can have your ECU's flashed :D

I had a contact at SEMA last year , I will look for his card . They had a basic price for the flash then if you did any mods they was a small retune fee .

lowering vtec is not normally beneficial as it introduces a whole bunch of fueling and timing issues since the stock ECU thinks that VTEC is not engaged.... but it's worth a try.

The EU does have a rev limiter cut facility but it is unclear if it will work with the S2000 .... once again it might be worth trying if power has not already fallen off ...

As time goes on more features will be available from the e-manage as they update the firmware all the time.

By the time you are ready we might have new Firmware :D

kevkranker 07-18-2006 08:39 AM

Hypothetically speaking if I wanted to raise my redline I could just get a AP1 ECU and the e-manage would fix the fuel/air mixture. Again that is if power doesn
