is that s turbo or supercharged??? those gto's have like 400hp... I actually was on the highway and had one pull up on the side of me wanting to race... i didnt want to get embarrased

 

Very bad launch for the GTO.

 

...the GTO may have 400hp, but it weighs almost 1/2 ton more than the S. GTO's weigh in at 3700lbs (S is 2800).

 

Looks like a bungled launch by the GTO driver. But that S pulled hard once the revs built up! Might have edged out the Pontiac anyways had the launch been cleaner...

Cool video. Me likey the GTO, too bad not enough other people did. They just yanked it from the market

All the Z's I have been doing with the Turbonetic's Kits have been 400hp -400lbft at the wheels with 8psi and a E-manage Ultimate

I just did 2 of them for Team Redline up in New York . They both work at a GM dealer and took the owner for a ride and freaked him out . Both cars will be at HIN boston

 

From the video i couldn't tell if it had hood scoops and single side exhaust. It could of been the first year model with the LS1 5.7l 350hp and not the LS2 6.0 400hp.

The driver in the S ran a good 1/4 but the GTO should be able to mid to high 13s no problem.

If you see one on the highway, it won't be fun if you are stock. Once those fat pigs get moving they are fast!!!
