S2K's in Maine?
First post, hello everyone!
I have recently seen two s2k's around Maine, and I'm wondering if either of those people are on the forums here.
Last Saturday, I saw a berlina black (not sure of MY) on Lisbon street in Lewiston turning off onto one of the sidestreets. I waved, haha, first non-dealership s2k I had seen in Maine. Didn't pay attention to the plates.
Last night going to a friend's house in Farmingdale (Halldale, farmingwell, whatever lol) I saw a silverstone parked on Rt. 201 through downtown Hallowell around 9PM. I was really surprised so I had to pull over to check it out. Also, this one had Maine plates.
Anyways I'm just wondering if you guys are around, as I haven't seen anyone from Maine here in the forums in the time I've been reading.
Adieu

Saylor - That sounds like a pretty fun event, I might have to grab some friends and head down there to check it out
thats_mr_2_u - You've got an 01 silver around here? Are you in the Farmingdale area?
Last night I was cruising with some friends in one of my friends' dads truck, and we saw what I'm pretty sure was the same s2k I had seen a few nights earlier pulling into a softball field parking lot, so we whipped it around and stopped and talked to the guy for a second. Heh, a little creepy, yeah, but its a nice car... lol
Edit: I didn't notice, but my friends said that the plates weren't from Maine. I didn't really look at the rear window either.

Hey guys, my name is Steve and I just moved to Ellsworth, ME from Wilmington, North Carolina. I have a 2001 Spa with the oem lip, dropped on a set of 18" Volk LE-37t's. I think I have only seen two S2000's since I moved here in December. They were both in the Portland area. Talk to you guys later.

Sounds like a tough adjustment to the weather from NC come the winter.
Yeah, I work in Trenton which is less than 10 minutes from Bar Harbor. It really is a beautiful area but the roads stink
compared to the south.
How many more months of nice weather can I expect before I have to put her in storage? I guess I'll need to get a 4x4 truck for the winter.

One? Maybe two? Summer is REAL short in Northen New England.
Just kidding.
I would say, for the most part, you are good until late October.
I'm not sure how much snow that area gets, so I'd ask a "local."
