I ran the March 26 event with SCDA at LRP. Had to take my BMW rather than Marj's S2000 as Lime Rock Park has a roll bar rule for convertibles. Watkins Glenn does not, so stock S200 can run. SCDA is a class act, and I had a blast. Don't think I can make it on May 6th (running at LRP again this saturday the 20th with BMWCCA and with a Reynard RT2000 formula car at LRP on May 22. Ian Prout, President of SCDA is among the best at putting on these event.

If anyone has any questions about what it is like to run on a track with SCDA, you can reach Marj or I at gmiller@gold-line.com

Have a great time, and there is an outside chance Marj and I might yet make the event.

Lime Rock Sat June 29! But you need a rollbar or hardtop.

I guess I can't go either... I need to put up a challenge to so that last year's autocross champion does not walk away easily this year

Fine, well, while you guys are duking it out for about 7 minutes of "track" time, I'll be driving at Lime Rock for a few hours, pushing my car and my new tires closer and closer to the limit so that when I go back in November, the SSGT COM track record is ALL mine...

We all have our priorities.

Make sure you bring a stop watch or if you're really serious into racing, buy an onboard lap timer like "Hot Lap" so you can get an accurate automatic reading for each of your laps, see what your best time is at Lime Rock. Currently the record for a fully street legal Honda car (any model) laps Lime Rock at 59 seconds by yours truly. See if you can beat that.
