Default Select Mohawk Drive date

Hey folks almost that time again to head out to the Mohawk for the fall colors.

I didn't include 2 weekends in Sept because of the events noted below:
Sept 11-14 Dragon Ball Run
Sept 26-28, 2008 - S2K DAYS Lake George, NY

If you are new to this drive. The Mohawk offers one of the most scenic woodland drives in Massachusetts, this drive offers a taste of real wilderness in a rustic setting. Speaking of taste of wilderness I was approached about their trash policy last spring: Carry In - Carry Out. Meaning we can't load up huge garbage bags and dump them at the park anymore from our picnic. Those dumpsters are designated for the campers. We will be asking that everyone participating bring a small grocery type plastic bag to carry out their trash from the picnic area.

Is there a prohibition from going off the road on this drive?

My ass is covered if anyone decides on going off road. I see no evil I hear no evil And I won't be stopping next time.

Actually who is the guy from that area? Anyone want to chime in? I could use another drive leader. On the last drive there was someone from the area that wanted to take us through Sherbrooke (sp) falls.
