Default small chip in the paint

i'm assuming there has got to be someone as anal as me here...while washing my S2K today before hibernation, i noticed a small (3-4mm) chip in the paint on the driver's side just below the door. would you leave as is or put touchup paint on it? also, do any of you disconnect the battery for the winter?

Make sure the stone chip has not gone past the primer - then you can use touch up paint - but sometimes, it ends up looking worse than leaving it as is... the trick is patience and thin coats with a very fine tipped applicator...
