If you are dumb enough to get hit by a train, you pretty deserve to get hit by a train, no?

This reminded me of something my driving instructor told once. We were talking about cars getting hit by trains. And he mentions that 75% of all car / train wrecks occur when the car hits the side of the train!

Just for once, I would like the world to report how it should be.

Fictional news item and how it would be reported:

"A man was killed today as he tried to manuvure around the train crossing gates at the intersection of Dumb Road and Retarded Avenue. Authorities are looking into how the gates can be improved to prevent accidents like this from happening."

Same fictional news item how it SHOULD be reported:

"A man was killed today as he tried to manuvure around the train crossing gates at the intersection of Dumb Road and Retarded Avenue. Authorities said that the man deserved what he got for being an idiot and that local residence are better off for having this human hazzard removed from society. 'The gates are fine,' said inspector Smith, 'only a moron would try to manuvure around them.'"

Man, I'd love that

bored at work today

Hehe...that was during the R.I drive. If I remember correctly, I think Scott and I parked right on a train track that was flush with the ground. There were no gates or lights. We didn't think it was anything more than an abandoned lot. Then we heard a train honking. We turned to the direction of the sound and saw a baby train coming right at us. We were like " WTF!! " OMG...that was funny
