congrats on the new car!!!now tell jim that he'll need to shine up the 'lude with his new PC before i consider it

Did you buy a new car, Lynda, or is Steve just lusting after that Prelude?
Yes, we bought a TSX! YAHOO!!!! It's Jim's car - but he says I can drive it when I want to. It's only his second brandy new car in his whole life so I can't monopolize it too much!
And yes, Steve is lusting after the Prelude so he won't feel like such an outcast in his wanna-be-cop-car.

I have to say I've heard a number of negative stories about HC dealerships. In fact, my uncle has told me he'll disown me if I ever buy a car from Herb, because he had a REALLY bad experience with them once.
On the flip side, I bought my S from Boch Honda on the Automile and had a very good experience. They were much less sleazy than other dealers I dealt with and they agreed to my price in a relatively short amount of time when no other dealer would. In fact, I'd say the price I got there was about $1500 to $2K less than the next lowest offer. I didn't get any guff when I asked for a test drive either. Although, I do recall a conversation with the salesman about qualifying serious buyers for a test drive when it comes to sports cars. I think he said he used to sell Corvettes and they would get a lot of lookey-loos and they had some process at his old dealership to weed them out.
Anyway, Boch seems really focused on selling as many cars as they can. They're the #2 Honda dealership in the US sales wise and I think they like to brag about that and would really like to move up to #1 too.

Ah a bidding war perhaps?
It's a 99 with a 5 speed and I believe there were only two trim levels with or without the spoiler - ours doesn't have the spoiler. It's got 147K miles currently (more before the torch is handed over). They are all highway miles - going from Franklin to Worcester every day piles on the miles. It's still going strong!
