I heard rumors but never looked into it until recently, was debating on getting work done there recently, was gonna take my old car there a couple years back also, just couldn't do it. I finally looked on the net for his name and found it.... Yes it's for real. Some people may not want or care...I'm sorry, no intent on offending you, but some of us may care, people with children or little sisters....

When I was 20 years old I had a girlfriend that was 16. She lived one block over from my Mom and Dad and used to hang out with all us car guys and we had a blast. Well after we had been dating for almost a year her Mom and Dad filed for divorced. Custody was awarded to her Dad (Only Child). Shortly after her mother called the police and reported the her daughter and I was having sex in her fathers house and he was aware of it. Within 2 days the pulled her from her dads and placed her in temporary care of her grandparents (Moms side of course) Next thing I knew there were two sherrifs officers at my Mom & Dad's house with a warrent for my arrest. The charge Statutory Rape of a minor. I was looking at 10 that is TEN years prision if tried and convicted. Well needless to say I wasn't about to go to trial and attemp to convince 12 people that I hadn't done someting that I did. So when they offered me a reduced charge of Indencency with a child, with-held ajudication (NO CONVICTION), and 20 years on Florida's sexual offender list (which used to be avaliable to the public upon request. Before the days of the internet) I took the deal. Now we have the internet and any time I move they update picture and address, as you can see where I bought a house and moved in December / Jan.

Well that was a long time ago and now occasionally I have an aquaintence or friend who dosen't know, asks and are told the whole story. And then there are those cowards who hide behind false screen names and unavaliable email addresses like chopstix who try to make themselves look good by attempting to make others look bad.


Well I hope this helps those who are interested in my personal life.

I wasn't interested until I read this thread. Sounds like you had a tough break that won't go away. Certainly a reasonable story. Thanks for sharing it. When I get around to putting a turbo on my S I'll be considering one from you
