hey guys i just received my espelir spring sand wanted to change them out myself. i have done this kind of project on my rsx before but i know the S2000 is a totally different animal, so i don't want to mess around. anyone out there who is experienced with this and willing to help out?

 

You need a spring compressor to do it in the S.

 

Super easy....I'd say come to tech day...but I'm not sure about how much time there is to spare at this point. It takes 2-3 hours, but if there are people at each corner, could take less than 45 Minutes.

You DO need a compressor to take off the old springs, but not to put on the new ones.

 

I doubt I'll have any mods for my car for tech day...so can give a hand if need be. I've never done the S before, but I have done it on my Audi a few times.

 

when/where is tech day? does anybody actually own a compressor? i'll buy one if i can get people to help me at tech day

 

you can go to any autozone or small autoparts store and rent one for like 40 bucks and when u bring it back its completely free

 

Cubby is the spring master. He did mine like it was second nature. Not one problem during the install or since.
