So the 10 day forcast (upper 40s and rain all ten days) has my thinking, who here likes spring?

i personally think its the worst season and im not looking forward to it.

temps in the high 40s to low 50s
bugs/black flies
pollen and pine needles
Rain and more rain
mud
melting snow everywhere.
crappy seasonal beers
And its the end of snowmobiling season - my winter s2k

There is the occasional nice 70 degree day, but it usually happens on a wednesday while im at work, and the the end of spring is not bad, but bring on summer

It's not really even spring yet. Hang on, it will get better!

We could totally do without winter, our least favorite time of year. Generally we don't have very warm springs around here. We are near the ocean, so our temps are always cooler and it's raw.

BUT, every now and again we get a gem (s) like we had this weekend. Shortly after we get a few of those the S comes out of hibernation. That leads to a lot more fun for us.

Spring is the stepping stone to summer. I'll take it!

 

Spring is better than winter, at least you do not shovel rain

 

I like winter almost as much as i like summer, thats why I hate spring. gotta complain about something right? haha

 

Spring is only awful in the Northeast. There's a reason I always take a 10 day vacation in April and head south. I bring the S2k with me for extra fun

Spring:
Sun's warmer
Birds are singing.
Tree frogs are peeping.
Leaves are coming out.
Top's down more.
Windows are open in the house.
Bicycle may come out.
Shorts, no socks.
Sitting on the deck on nice days.
Walking the dogs in the light and doesn't involve multiple layers of clothing.
Baseball (and I'm not even that big a follower), but the sound of the broadcast just sounds SO good.
Boston Marathon.
No ice on the sidewalks.
No salt on the roads.
Easter chocolates.
NO SNOW!

 

Like Lainey said, it's the stepping stone to summer and the END of
snow for the most part, you never know in NE.

Chris you need to learn to love golf.
I love true Spring.
the snow is gone, the sun is out and the flowers are coming up.

I'm not as fond of march.
dirty melting snow and mud, can't ski, can't golf.

But real spring, late april, early may, nothing is sweeter.
