hey guys last week i went to the track with my talon. completely street car my girl drives it everyday and she will be racing it this year at new england dragway.
with street tires @ 27psi here's a video.

last year i ran it at 32psi with race fuel but kept braking tranny's. its a daily driven car so i can't afford to brake it.

as soon as i get a cage i will be running 35psi and all 4 slicks .

 

Never been a big DSM fan, but damn that's quick You get traction issues even with AWD? I figured you'd have a significant advantage there.

 

well it's nice being awd but i still have traction problems but the car is making 500hp+

if i can get a 1.6 60ft it will go 10s but for not with no cage i can't go any faster then 11.49 or ill get kicked out, so i bring the street tires.

It can be done... one of my best friends has a Galant VR-4 and an '01 S2000, his only cars. He loves 'em both.

I have a 95 talon awd, also currently has a blown tranny lol. but it's my winter car and yes they are very easy to build to be very fast.
