Default Tax holiday coming.

The tax holiday is coming in mid-August as it was approved yesterday. what will you buy (if anything) that weekend?

Any item except cars priced under $2500 will be exempt. I would like to get that new tractor tax free, but I will have to see how funding goes...

$100 in tax on a tractor that costs $2000 is big. Throw in a 10% lowes coupon and you got a great deal!

I am sure many folks will buy a nice TV or something else like that.

Until hookers are taxed, this holiday will be irrelevant to me.

Funny thing is, THEY ARE

There are laws on the books about taxing for prostitution. That was the govt can go at pimps and stuff with tax evasion laws which hold a much bigger bite. Look at Al Capone. that's how he went down.

Yup, no sales tax & no income tax. This is why they plopped large malls in Nashua and Salem, right off the highways rt 3 and 93. People from MA shoot over, buy their stuff and shoot back over the border. Otherwise, there's no other reason to visit
