if my feeble old memory severs me correctly pay phones were a hard plastic substance as they are today which was a relatively inhospitable to little creatures with legs.
those fluffy porous headphones pads on the other hand are wonderful environments for lice, fleas, bedbugs and a whole host of critters.

Did you get a test run in yet?

Played through a few levels of single player to get my feet wet and then started fooling around with Live to set up an account. I was just going to set up a silver account until I go to the store to get the gold package with the headset, but the machine still had the 1mo free gold trial in it, so I signed up. I played multiplayer for a while until my connection got reset. The only reason it dropped though was because I have the xbox connected through my laptop's net connection and the laptop hibernated because I didn;t have it plugged in. oops.
The kids are sleeping so I am playing on the big TV right now. I need to find a better, more permanent solution.
ok I lied.
there was a while when you could get some sharp refurbs for around 400 bucks that were pretty good.
I don't see any around right now.
tigerdirect and newegg are usually ok.
there is another place called projectors central http://www.projectorcentral.com/
but i haven't worked with them directly.
projectors get you big cheaply relative to lcd but they do have a downside.
1. noise they have a fan and you can hear it. some are louder than others.
2. bulb life is around 2000 to 3000 hours. some are shorter. the cost is the bulb can be $200 bucks.
3. they can put out a lot of heat. we have a room that is kind of dedicated to it. watch along movie and you notice the room is much warmer when your done.
I did a quick glance and I would look closely at the inputs and resolution.
mine doesn't have hdmi inputs and the components video in only in the VGA connector.
mine does wxga but i really wish it could do 1920 x 1200
just be aware of the limitations. it is awesome to watch the celtics on though. ( even when they lose)
