I have heard many many times that people who like the top up are a "wuss" or some other term denoting weakness.

Does it take a certain amount of strength, either inner or physical, to have the top down so that the person is not a wuss if they do it?

If it does take some type of dedication or strength to put up with having the top down, wouldn't that tend to make you think that it is not enjoyable? Wouldn't it be easy to do if it were so great?
That quote is so save worthy. I think I'll do a top-down boycott for the rest of September. Hell with the gas mileage improvements it won't be a hard sell

I went top down yesterday. I'm going to try to go for as long as I can. I'll dress like Nanook of the North and run the heater on high. I'm sure the folks at the office will have a bit of a chuckle. I love the wide open feel and great visibility.

Connie!

Good to see you!

Just keep in mind when it gets cold, your tires are like hockey pucks....

Will you put the car away for the winter?

Jeff, Ray, I was just kidding around.

We all know about the great "top down vs. top up/hardtop" debate...I was just
giving Mike a little razzing.

At least I didn't razz him about how well his yankees AREN'T doing this year.

Cry baby? He tore his ACL, among other things.

Yeah Brady is F'd. On the bright side, he is lucky he didn't tear his meniscus like I did too. It will be interesting to see how long his return takes and what he can do when he does come back.

Back on topic, I am going to go drive around with my top up

My car is a convertible. I drive it with the top down until the weatherguessers say 'Snow tomorrow'. it then goes up on jackstands in the heated/ac'd garage until Spring. I don't need a hardtop.

I like driving my car year round. Why let it sit?
