Default Transformers

shift into summer movie mode. suspend all critical thinking processes.

then go see Transformers. make sure the theater has a good sound system.

Just got back, the movie rocked. Even my wife liked it. Only bad thing they were all American cars.

That sucks. This movie is a propaganda machine at the expense of the original show's integrity. I want to see the cars that I can relate back to the cartoon. When I see a 911 I would know, "hey, that's Jazz! Cool!" Not, "WTH is this Saturn Sky dude?" The whole point to go see this movie is to re-live my childhood a bit for about 1.5 hour.

Michael Bay solidifies he's the biggest sellout in the movie industry.

The fact that bumble bee is not a VW bug does not bother me. I did not grow up with those cartoons. But the effects on the trailers look awesome. I plan on seeing it but a bit after the crowds die down.

actually it worked out perfectly last night.
we thought it opened tonight.
we decided to go at about 7:40, hustled into the car and got to the theater at 8:12 for the 8:00 show. walked in and got seats just at the end of the last trailer. no 20 minutes of advertisements followed by 15 minutes of movie trailers. just a movie.
