Default tsb 054

A while back, someone posted this topic and said for those of us who haven't had it done, just do it.

Had my clutch replaced yesterday (01) under 054 and it is like driving a different car. Special thanx to Jay at Kelly Honda in Salem, MA who did the job and is also the owner of a 01 Silverstone/red and black.

Nice job Jay.

BTW-had my valves checked and they were all to spec, so you guys who thought I was paranoid, just might be right. I'm still not sure

Aaaaaaaarrrgh!!!
LOL Ben. You were right on about the clutchwork though. They replaced pressure plate and flywheel also. Clutch wasn't this quiet brand new, so of course, now I focus on engine noise.

Maybe I need a speaker upgrade next.

Bass,

Not sure. I work a few miles from Kelly, so I left it there at 8AM and they gave me an Accord for the day (with their logo all over it-LOL). Picked it up around 3 that afternoon. I think he said it took a few hours. I drove around 300 miles today in various rpm's and it didn't make a peep, up or down shifting or coasting, decellerating, etc.

My original choice was Bernardi's, until I found a mechanic in Salem who is also an enthusiastic owner.

That's great! Did you let the owner know about this site and about us?
