This is rediculous. For the second time, the UPS driver has not even attempted to deliver a package to my house and listed it as "not home on attempt". I have left signed notes for the driver to leave the packages, which I was told to do by UPS and usualy works. Since I already know they won't leave it here when you are not home, I track incoming packages like a hawk and make sure I am home. From my apartment I can see and easily hear the big brown truck come down the street. Nothing tonight. My guess is that the driver was running behind schedule and just said screw it. This is BS when we pay already inflated prices to have a package delivered to us. FedEx on the other hand has not pulled this stunt, and always leaves a tracking slip with which you can go to their center and get your package yourself if you do legitimatly miss a delivery. And, they are open late for this purpose. After calling UPS a few minutes ago, I was told that they close at 6 (the package was supposedly attempted at 5:40) and that I should make sure I am home tomorrow. Needless to say, I wasnt happy with that, and demanded to speak to a supervisor. Supposedly one will be calling me back within an hour. We shall see. Anyone else have similar experience??

Sorry for the rant, I am livid right now.

I have a hard time getting packages all winter. they look at my driveway and declare it "undeliverable due to weather" if they so much as see a snowflake.

of course the alternative is, sometimes they just drop it at the side of the road which is a quarter of a mile from my house.

I refuse to use UPS anymore because they have lost two packages on me. Not to mention Fedex ground shipping is a lot cheaper then ups. I once sent a front bumper for 26 dollars to missouri when ups was gonna charge me over 100 dollars

It's so funny that you say that. I waited at home ALL DAY today because tracking had my new computer coming in. Then I went upstairs to shower because I had to got to work and in the 30 minutes I was in the shower the dude came and went. This is so annoying. If I'm in the house and they don't deliver tommorow I"m going to track them down and let my puppy pee on them!

That really sucks what i try to do from now on is, get the packages shipped to my friends shop, especially if its parts for my S That way, i know for sure someone is always there of the 5 employees to sign for it and theres no excuse for them not to drop by. Funny how this seems to always happen to us, but they always prioritize the Buisness deliveries

In this part of the country the UPS sevice is generally very good. Only every now and then (usually the regular drivers have a day off)will I will miss a delivery. I think they are used to delivering in inclimate weather. Fed ex has thier problems too, I've a set of 4 tires ordered only to get 3 one day,a fri, and the 4th deliverd on on Tues, after a holiday! Go figure.

Yes, like i said before UPS seems to take priority of the business's deliveries first, so i also suggest to get the parts/shippments shipped to your place of work that way, you know theyll get to you and you wont have to go through this hassle again

Yeah, I am going to have things shipped to my buddies shop for now on. But it shouldnt have to be that way. I am going to request Fedex whenever possible for now on.
