Pretty cool, like the tune. You have a great job! I always wanted to be a cop when I was younger, and I hoped to work with dogs. My grandfather, a 40 year cop in Worcester talked me out of it... Said I would end up hating everyone... Turns out I pretty much do anyway. I still wish I had persued it.

He was right and you probably would have hated everyone MORE . But, it's a great job, and I wouldn't trade it for 10x the pay (well maybe ). But seriously, I can't complain, it just stinks to always see the worst side of most people.

Thats the angle he took. His brother (also a cop) told me the same thing, but his son is a cop... I dunno it was like an intervention.

Still waiting on my buddy to take me on a ride along. See foreign lands (seems like) and meet interesting people at their most charming.

Jeff that is really cool. One thing for sure is German shepherds are BADASS! I love them. I used to have one until a few years ago . Very smart dogs.

Thanks.

Kev, the Sheperds are very smart, but don't for get the Beligian Malinois! Most people have never heard of the breed and look at me sideways when they ask me what kind of dog my partner is and I tell them. They are very similar to the Shepherd... a little thinner build and ALOT more drive. Very intense dogs!

Those safety/ practice suits are pretty badass to handle those dogs.

Yeah, they are padded, but the idea is you don't get hurt because the dog just bites the suit due to the fact that they are "supposed to be" loose. One time though, a particularly large and strong dog got me on the forearm and the suit didn't help too much. He broke my skin, and caused a baseball sized lump along with a bruise from elbow to wrist. Wasn't too fun, but we laugh about it now. My wife was pissed when I came hoem that night. She kept asking me what they were doing to me at school
