I don't know about how "the man" is patrolling the dragon, but I can tell you that there is no other road like it ANY where. It's worth the trip 100%
You can read about it here.. Safe on the North Carolina side...stay away from Tennessee.

Is the Dragon worth going to these days.....I hear the PO PO are cracking down a bit.

On a side note....are there and "dragon like" roads in NE or Upstate NY?
The mohawk is somewhat close but most of the time we get stuck behind some RV or vintage person.

Time for some more investigating the roads again for most curves.

Only thing I can think of is in the Bershires of Mass or the White mountains of NH.

We've been on a LOT of roads since we got our S. Almost 40K miles worth of roads in MA, VT, NH, NY, PA and then some.

From the pictures I've seen of the dragon, nothing we've been on comes close. Not to say we haven't enjoyed the roads and the ride, because we have.

I'd love to go, but there is a good chance my car will be recovering from elective surgery at this time. I'm not sure I'd be comfortable driving a bazillion miles to the dragon before everything is sorted out.

Are you kidding? You expect me to buy a big box of fast and just stare at it for months without installing it on my car?!

You never know... it could be some of Ellen's air bag warning cover up plaques. What am I supposed to do if one of those falls off mid-trip?!

once again we reach the time of year when i start toying with the idea of driving down for it.
I just have to find an excuse to allow me to submit the miles for business.
