Scallops dipped in mayo? Is this something they actually serve or is this something you created by ordering the scallops and covering the horried taste with mayo?

 

Hey everyone! I am exactly 1 month away from getting my car out of storage, woohoo! I do check this site daily although with the winter, there isn't much to post. But I do enjoy Steves tangents that he posts throughout the winter. Always humorous, they made the season go by quicker.

Anxious for the first meet of the year as well as the detailing/fluids day n April.

Erick loves the steak dive aka Pete's Bluebird and he loves mayo and he really loves scallops from pete's where good seafood aint cheap and cheap seafood aint good

 

Yes... both of those foods earned a place on the, "Big list of things horrifyingly wrong with the world according to Erick". Actually, scallops by themselves occupy a spot in the, "Erick approved list" but those prepared at the steak dive were an exception which made the former list.

 

OK - I don't know Erick that well at all but I do know from previous posts that Erick HATES mayo with a passion. The steak dive is still a scary place to me even though we've never been - some of the best food can be had at dives (or at least good drinks can be had a dives ex. OVC's at Lewis') - but I'm sure that some of the best cases of food poisioning have orginated at dives as well. SO........
