I'm probably the only person in the world who still comes to a complete stop at a stop sign.

Stop signs. Bah. In France they don't even stop for stop lights!

I have no idea why I brought that up.

You know why you only got a warning, right?

It's because you're driving "Vintage Blue" The guy thought you were really a responsible old person. Now if you had been driving NFR or Spa Yellow..................

Cop looking at my radar detector: "you know those things don't work right?"

ME: "yea, not sure why I have it. I don't speed anyway. I don't have any speeding tickets"

Cop: "Yes, I know, I pulled your record"

heck i would have told him it worked just fine hence the reason i was driving so slow - then i would have explained that my taxes pay his salery and then i would have asked if why he wasn't out busting all the drug dealers or at the dougnut shop

then again I have LOTS of tickets

I think I'll use Jeff's excuse for the radar detector if I'm ever asked. Steve's answer could land me in
