Wedding/Cermony Locations?
I all, I've been AWOL for a while as I have way to much on my plate!
Ive been trying to do a job change of careers, sell my house in VT, AND plan a wedding
For those of you who dont know, Zack proposed on Dec 1 and what a rock Ive got!
Anyway need some help...since we are new to the area I need some suggestions on places you all know of or have been to for cermonies/receptions. Id like to have it all in one place as we have people coming from everywhere and do not want them driving and getting lost etc....
So we are only going to have around 75 people and all these places are hitting us with this minimum requirement deal. Meaning I have found alot of places I like but am required to have greater than 125 people to hold it there...so this has more difficult than I had planned.
Any suggestions you all have would be appreciated!
Thanks!
April
A cousin had here wedding at the The White Cliffs

^ I checked into this one....the rental fee was like $4500....and that was just to rent the place...plus it was weird..they only would do the ceremony there in July.....they said they were to busy to do both ceremony and reception around September when I wanted....I didnt understand that but oh well......
Thanks!
Thanks!
My wife and I were married here. They have indoor and outdoor options, and reasonable room rates too.

April,
I don't know if you can get a reservation but the wayside inn of longfellow fame http://www.wayside.org/ has a small church onsite.
they do a large number of weddings.

That's a good suggestion. My cousin got married in that Chapel a few years back and it was a very cute little place. She wanted to have her reception at the Wayside Inn afterward, but they couldn't work it out for some reason or another. I think they had too many people or something.
Also, April if you need help finding a realtor to sell your house in VT let me know. I am a licensed realtor in MA and I could certainly refer you to a good realtor in VT.
