Default Weekend with the buzz box.

So, this weekend my Garmin GSP 18 (antenna for laptop) and I wanted to make a laptop stand for the S2000.....

Few of you may remember a got a little Arc Welder 2 years ago...so I picked up some welding stock and made this guy.....some of my welds are UGLY.....others were decent......

it bolts to the distal passenger side seat mounting bolt and is awesome....a little more grinding and some primer/paint and I'm rocking. Sadly, since it is a LAPTOP, the is very little room (in fact none) for a passenger.

The laptop just hangs over the passenger seat and faces the driver perfectly....

No problem Cobby. Now that Erin has been voted in as the official Hot Babe of the RGCC, there will be plenty of seats for her to choose from!

Jeff, can you reposition the leg of the tray to locate the tray between the seats, above the shift knob?

V1.0 uses the outside front passenger seat mount, but with the passenger seat back, I can also use the inboard mount also. I avoid permanent mods, but you could also bolt into the raised section in the frame.

I can make one to go over the shift knob, but you would be suprised how much space laptops use up when the are inside the S.

I would hesitate making a mount infront of the passenger space as I'd be worried about air bag deployment.
