I didn't mind the 4th down call; it's the 3rd down play I didn't like. If they had planned to go on 4th, I'd like to see them run on 3rd. Even if they didn't get 1st down on that, they can try a QB sneak on 4th which they are great at.

Just a stupid call......the consequences for not converting on 4th down FAR out weighed the benefit. You punt and make Manning earn his win with rookie WR's which were prone to mistakes all night. I've never seen Manning throw so many ducks.......Just a horrible call.....Now you've got a defensive unit that thinks his coach has no faith in them.....nice.

I think he made the right call. Neither option was appealing at that time. If he punted and the defense flopped (you know they would), he loses. His only option for victory was to get the 1st down and drag it out FTW.

F the defense if their feelings are hurt . Next game they should step up and earn their coach's respect. They are all big boys, leave the panties at home.

And if it would have worked, people would be on here calling him a genius.

It's a stupid call weather it works or not.......I think Bill's getting too cocky, thinks his team can walk on water. Say what you want, but moral is a huge part of a successful team.
