This isnt all that new. I played online immersive RPGs in years past and have seen some weird crap.
As long as 10 years ago, playing Ultima Online, players would arrange weddings where their characters would 'marry'. They had other players attend and officate the ceremony.
My only attendance ever was when my group of friends attacked, and killed the bride and many guests.
Ah, the good ol days.
